It can be easy sometimes to think in absolutes when skies are dark and it feel like the darkness will never end.
Yet, even behind grey clouds, the sun is shining. And even after the darkest night, the dawn is waiting on the horizon.
Fin the value in the grey cloud day — for me, I look at a cloud day as an invitation to spend time in my studio — without guilting myself into feeling like I should be doing something outside in the yard.
I love candlelight, so dark mornings are an opportunity to meditate with a candle burning.
Find value in all things, and let the value you find be your invitation to create peace, love, joy and harmony in your life.
even when it is pitch dark, the sun is shining brightly … just not on us or where we are at that moment; every day this planet has earthquakes and fierce storms, births and deaths, wars and peace-makers, glorious success and prosperity while at the same time disease, poverty and stupidity are equally rampant – but we keep spinning through space at incredible speed driven by forces much larger than we can imagine … if we could only harness that energy!

I think we are that energy Mark — we just keep spinning so we don’t feel it and know it! 🙂

Hell yes I am with you here, there is something about candle light but as mum says that is because if needed we can flick a switch and have light not like when she was a child

My ‘epiphany’ came on a gloomy dark day when I looked up at the sky and saw the sunshine sneaking in from behind the clouds. My decision was made in that moment to go in a different direction and even though I am not quite there, it was the best decision that i could have ever made. You are right to always remember the dawn will come.
It was great meeting you last month Louise, and I will see you again one day.
