Good question! I don’t know! For me, it’s around not being so caught up in the ‘seriousness’ of every moment, I lose sight of my human condition — which is always fascinating!
I think we need a balance … like ends of a teeter-totter; the fulcrum is ‘someone’, our end is ‘our own seriousness’ and on the other end is ‘our share of the weight of the world’ and like most teeter-totters, it’s up and down, up and down, up and down
Oh Louise – I would be so so so lost without laughter. I wish I had kept up better with your posts over the last few months but I just fell into a heap – thanks so much for your ongoing wisdom xxx
well … if WE don’t take ourselves SO seriously, WHO will?

Dearest Julie, breathe. And know, you are doing the best you can. And your best is good enough. Much love my friend.
