Welcome to Dare Boldly.
In this place, you’ll find my art and words and thoughts on living life leaning into the edge of possibility, beyond the confines of my comfort zone. Unless otherwise noted, what you see here is my original work and words.
In this place I am committed to living from a place where I must Dare Boldly to be my true self, to live by my principles and explore the world outside the boundaries of my comfort zone. That means that I must live bravely in the moment. I must let go of expectation and judgement, to be present to whatever is asking to appear, unfold, become in the now. And in the process, I’m looking to inspire acts of grace in everyday living. To be conscious of the creative tension within each moment to live and breathe and be grace-filled. To be a conduit for grace for all the world to know.
It is an adventure. A journey. A mystical voyage into the exploration of that state of being that says, I am perfectly magnificent in all my human being, yin and yang, dark and light, perfect in all my human imperfections.
I want to connect with you through our shared human condition. Our shared magnificence. I want to celebrate the divine in each of us and the wonder of all I meet, here in this place called “Blog Land” and out there in the big wonderful world I inhabit.
Welcome. And thank you for sharing in this journey. Together, we can inspire and commit acts of grace in everyday living that will make a world of difference for everyone.
Namaste
Louise Gallagher

Below is something to soothe your spirit and bring you grace while you read. I found it when the author of My One Life Today dropped by for a visit — one of the gifts of Blog Land. It was so beautiful and soothing, I wanted to share it here.
Congratulations on choosing to give. I look forward to hearing about your journey.

At Onement: “to be in the moment”… I like your (very up to the moment: ) term for this very old and venerable concept.
I also (being someone who always plays with their words; ) like how your words can become (again in these days of altering form and dropping spaces; ) AtOnement; and, to take it one step farther, to Atonement… Can we not therefore, by actually Doing So /Living At Onement; change our world, one moment at a time; become better, erasing our past negatives one act at a time and gain Atonement from At Onement? Such a lovely practice and practical idea; I like where your writing takes me Louise, thank you! (And many thanks to Diana for leading me here – particularly this week) Namaste.

So wonderful to discover you and your wonderful blog. It’s lovely to find a fellow pilgrim on the path of discovering the truth within and without. I took work in the charity sector (in London) and work with homeless people and others who are disenfranchised in other ways. I too am considering ‘moving on’. Look forward to reading your wonderful work!

And it’s wonderful to meet a fellow pilgrim Anjali — I have ‘moved on’ and back to the sector. I now work for a foundation focused on ending homelessness — I like focussing on the possibilities, not the limitations. I shall check out your blog too!

Greetings of ecstatic wonderment!
You are now the (hopefully!) pleased and proud recipient of a Token of Humanity.
Not only does yours foolie find this token an unusually beautiful gesture of recognition in a community always willing to extend them, but — most unusually! — no action is required or requested of its happy receiver unless and until the inspiration strikes to pass it along!
Here’s your link:

Congratulations and, from all of us your readers, thank you.
