Interruptions in service do make a difference

My internet at home is down once again. Shaw tells me it’s a ‘glitch’ in the neighbourhood and should be fixed by July 2.  I will experience interrupted service, they tell me.

Hmmm….. interrupted currently means ‘no service at all’.

Which also means, no blog today until I get time to take my laptop and sit in a coffee shop and write. It makes a difference to have the convenience of internet at home — I am so blessed by what I have in my life!

Not having internet is not a hardship — just an early morning meeting at 7:30 and now a day of work — I won’t be writing until later.

In the interim — have a day of making a difference — I plan on it!

    1. I awoke this morning and it’s back….. funny, it’s been so unpredictable I find that negative voice leaping into the fray and whispering… yea, it’s back… for now…. how long will this last? 🙂 it’s back right now. how niice!

  1. by-the-by ..

I am with Shaw … but I can still access websites, blogs etc. from anywhere

is Shaw hosting your website? if they are, maybe you need a new host whose site you can reach from any device anywhere? … I use Network Solutions … works well for me

  2. Hi Mark — I too can access anywhere — like this morning when I have now moved to a coffee shop because Shaw is down at home — it’s not the hosting that’s the problem. It’s the glitch in the system in my neighbourhood which they are working on fixing by sometime next week. It ‘feels like’ there’s a link in the system that doesn’t respond well to rain! 🙂 Hopefully, they’ll have it fixed next week. In the interim, I have interrupted, unpredictable service. Which means…. I get to spend time in my favourite coffee shop! yeah! 🙂

  3. It is sucks when we have no internet it feels so odd well it does for me and yes if I couldn’t connect from home I could take my laptop to Macca’s which is just down the road and have free WI FI
