I expect to receive an influx of photos of cherry blossoms bursting and daffodils rising their sunshiny heads towards clear blue skies from my family and friends on the west coast today.
It’s just the way it goes.
The weather here on the windward side of the Rocky Mountains is always entertaining and, for some reason, seems to bring out gleeful expressions of ‘so sorry it’s snowing’ from the west.
It’s okay. Whether I like it or not, it’s the weather. I still get to go outside and frolic and savour nature’s beauty.
Especially because Beaumont does not let me rest, no matter the weather!

It’s was 21 and sunny yesterday and 2 and raining hard today. Incredibly happy to see that rain. Still went for a walk as, like Beau, Skye says yes every day.

I live in Northern California. I was on the beach yesterday afternoon, and today I’m in a sweater and leggings; it’s raining. Again. And it’s ten degrees colder than yesterday!

I’m a bit jealous, we usually get a bit of snow where I live. But this winter and last nothing worth getting excited about – to my kids great disappointment.
Currently we are in the short sleeves one day, sweater the next weather here. 😄 The blooming trees don’t mind though 🌸 💜

Fortunately, our trees have not yet considered blooming – this is a really, snowwoman kind of snow making day – tooo heavy for leaf-laden trees! Though I’m sure my Irises which have been popping their tiny fronts out of the ground are a bit confused today! 🙂

Well guess what? Over here in the east, Quebec, anyway, it looks just like it does in your neck! Actually, now that I look at your picture, I can say ours is worse! And it’s not showing any signs of slowing down.
Have I mentioned I LOATHE snow in April?

Oh wow! I just looked online at your weather — yup. YOu got it worse! it’s quite warm here -1C. When Beau and I were at the park, everytime I threw the ball it rolled and became a mini snowball! Fortunately, his nose always finds it! 🙂

Honestly. It’s the same temp here! I’m trying to work up the courage to go shovel that stuff. It is HEAVY.
